Dartmouth-Hitchcock is one of the nation’s largest non-profit, multi-specialty group practices offering comprehensive health care services through five major divisions in Lebanon, Concord, Manchester, Nashua and Keene, New Hampshire. Anchored by Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center on the 225 acre campus in Lebanon, the system includes the Norris Cotton Cancer Center, Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock, affiliate hospitals in NH and VT and 24 Dartmouth-Hitchcock clinics.

Partnering with Dartmouth-Hitchcock for over a decade, we have been called on to provide interior wayfinding, informational and thematic signage throughout the DH campuses. Our relationship involves collaborating with a team of individuals from facilities management, operations and marketing to ensure that the sign systems throughout their campuses consider aesthetics, functionality and message.

With a history that dates to 1797 and origins that trace to a variety of medical groups, DH recognized the value of sharing their story with the community and they put their trust in us to develop a history wall that would tell their story in a meaningful way. Welch also worked with Dartmouth-Hitchcock’s marketing department to develop signage that allowed ever-changing marketing and educational messages to be posted.  Creative thematic signage for the cafeteria was also part of the project scope.
